Kayla is Filipina-Canadian 2d animator whose style combines impressionist painting with a strong graphic influence to create stories and environments which bring out a sense of wonder and nostalgia. Currently a student at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, she spends what little spare time she has exploring new cuisine, watching horror movies, and crochet (though not necessarily all at the same time!) Kayla is currently wrapping up production on her grad film, 'The Deadline', due out in April of 2026.
Kayla is openly seeking opportunities in production coordination and visual development for 2D animation.
